The homestay comes with a flat-screen TV. The accommodation is non-smoking. What a wonderful and memorable stay in a traditional Fijian village. We liked it so much that we ended up staying in Soso village for a month. Silo, Bill, Va, Rob, Simi, Luisa and Iki, we will never forget the great time we had with you. You took good care of us, prepared extra food for the children and helped us when they got sick. As for the village. The people are very friendly, with a lot of children, so our kids made friends instantly. The beach in front of the village is beautiful, with a nice healthy reef to snorkel and there are some nice hikes with spectacular views over all of the Tasawas. As there is no light pollution, stargazing is breathtaking and the manta ray passage is just around the corner. The accommodation is very basic with a bucket shower and no-flush-toilet, but the beds are comfortable and the food is great. Note that the water available is rain water, so if you want to go safe, bring your own bottled water (or aqua-tabs) from the mainland because there are no real shops on the island. Also, you should wear a Sulu (Sarong) around the village and in church, men too. And it’s expected that you bring a kava root (worth 20 FJ$) and/or some money to present to the chief of the village when you arrive.

Guests can take in the views of the sea from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. I think this is just one of the best places I ve been. Hospitality, location and new clean rooms. Thanks for this great memory

Situated in Savusavu in the Vanua Levu region, Latui Loft has a patio and mountain views. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation features full-day security, and luggage storage for guests. Candida & Grant's generosity of spirit made my visit to Savusavu extra special.  Candida had a list of activity providers, and she helped make sure the activity was good based on weather, etc. The place was clean and had everything I needed, plus a nice assortment of welcome treats.  The environment is serene, and you're close to town. The terrace was lovely for all times of day, to enjoy a coffee or drink and take in the views and nature. The outdoor shower was a luxury that I didn't know I needed.   They offered rides whenever they were headed into town and made sure I was comfortable and shared deliious fresh fruit from the garden that came ripe while I was there. Sometimes, a host is more than just a host. Latui Loft is a gem.

Amazing surroundings, amazing people, nice food - shout out to Emily for the food! I celebrated my birthday with my girlfriend and the family helped making it something special. I will always remember Wai Makare and the lovely family. It is not luxury, but the amazing relaxed island lifestyle and the family that makes this stay special!

Sunrise Lagoon Homestay is offering accommodation in Nanuya Lailai. Located on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area, water sports facilities and a garden. The homestay has family rooms. The host (Lise) is the best, very welcoming and funny!! She will get for you everything you need and always with a big smile! Good homemade food as well, and pig portions! Go to the tea house next to it and take a massage, cheap and really good!! In the other side of the island there is the blue lagoon beach with a bar and shop were you can chill and see the sunset with a cocktail! Sunrise is in the beach right in fornt of the homestay, so wake up early and don’t miss it!! Forget about resort comodities, this is the real Fijian experience!!

Yasawa Homestays is set in Nacula Island. Located on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area, a garden and a terrace. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, free shuttle service and luggage storage for guests. Nice experience at TAVEN homestay in a beautiful village, in the middle of nature, different from the resort experience. You get to visit the village, the church, interact with the locals. Salone will tell you stories and cook nice food, give you fruits from her garden. The garden is full of flowers and right on sea side. I did a wonderful hike up the hills and to another part of the island, and then vame back on the beach during low tide.

Jolame Homestay Experience is located in Wayasewa Island and offers a garden and a terrace. With sea views, this accommodation provides a balcony.
