I loved my stay at Chambre d’hôtes - Marais. Morgan was kind and hospitable, and the entire place has so much charm (I really appreciated the light snacks left out for the guests, and also the designer colognes left at the door for us to enjoy? Such a nice touch) The room I took was plenty spacious, and the bed was very comfortable (and I’m picky about beds !). My bedroom also had a street-facing window, but with the window closed I couldn’t hear anything at all from outside. The owner Morgan prepares a simple but elegant breakfast which was a great way to start my mornings in Paris. He was also very helpful when I needed recommendations for things to do in the area. I plan on staying here the next time I’m in Paris, if Morgan has availability. 10/10!

This is one of the most unusual places I have ever been: the house is Louis XIV style and the rooms are freshly decorated in similar style, even the heater and the tiles are authentic, it makes you feel like a royalty and the owners contribute to that with their politeness and hospitality. Breakfast was also great, and what impressed me bit time was the lift and the library - a lift for a couple of floors is a nice touch and demonstrates the willingness of the hosts to perfection and comfort. The books were well selected and should go back for longer to be able to enjoy them.
