The host couple are the kindest people I’ve ever met. I hiked all day without much food. It was a holiday in France and all the stores were closed. Monique immediately gave me some fruits, meat and bread. She also phoned restaurants nearby to see which one was opened. The day I left, we had breakfast together and she also gave me some bread to take along. Never been treated so kindly.

Our stay at Chez Norbert exceeded all our expectations for our trip. The room, decor and cleanliness 10/10. The bed was comfortable and we liked the small lounge area we had. The bathroom was huge! The stained glass windows told a story of local history and the beautiful courtyard was just coming into bloom. The breakfast provided by Sabine was something else! Local cheeses and delicacies, fresh fruit, fresh bakery products and homemade preserves. Plenty to prepare you for wine tasting in local wineries and vineyards.

The room is cozy and and really spacious, when I say room, it's actually an apartment. It was quite nice and cool when we checked in the apartment, even though outside there were 30 degrees Celsius. Everything was clean, with two massive and very comfortable sitting chairs.
