Comfortable and beautiful rooms, wonderful breakfast, serene surroundings. Gracious and communicative host. Conveniently located near Hay on Wye. Stone's throw from a terrific pub. Brandon Lodge is a professionally converted 19th-century building within the city boundaries, 1 mile from the centre, 2 miles from the train station and within walking distance of a frequent bus... Very helpful staff. Good communication. Lovely room

The bed is very comfortable, and has a large TV with Sky (inc. Sports). There is good wifi so you won't miss not having a phone signal. Nancy is very generous and friendly, and offered fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden.

I love this property, a gorgeous self contained apartment off of the beautiful barn. Very comfortable, beautifully decorated in a great location which was very peaceful and also beautiful. The host, Sian was an absolute pleasure and very lovely to talk with. She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. We will definitely come back in the future.

Lovely lady running it, very friendly, excellent cook, breakfast was very generous. I had scrambled eggs on toast and my husband had most of a full English. There were also packets of cereal. Tea, coffee, orange juice, extra toast. Good informative book of the room and we had an excellent supper at a nearby Italian restaurant
