Located within the UNESCO-protected Plitvice Lakes National Park, in the picturesque Plitvica Selo, Plitvice Falls Cottage features air-conditioned rooms, free private parking and views of the surrounding countryside. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. The location was great, on the right side of the Plitvice Lakes, which allowed us to discover a different view of the lakes. Also entrance #3 to the lakes was very close (5 mins walking). The bed was excellent and the rooms overall were at highest standards. I enjoyed a lot the dinner prepared by the host, especially the mushroom cream soup was amazing !

I stayed at Villa Knezevic and I had a fantastic experience - The location is amazing, just 3 mins walk from the bus stop (all Flixbus buses stop there). And the villa is 20 mins easy walk to the entrance 2 of the national park. There is also a nice restaurant right opposite the villa :) - Staying at Villa Knezevic was like staying with family. The staff was so nice and helpful throughout. They even packed me lunch which came in very handy during the long walks in the national park - They were flexible with the check-in timings (I told them before that I'd arrive late and they made arrangements accordingly). Also, they allowed me to keep my luggage at the reception after the checkout - They have breakfast for 10€ in the morning. They have many different options of bread, meat, cheese, cereal, yoghurt, fruit etc. I really enjoyed the breakfast - The rooms are nice and clean. They are equipped with both heating and Air Conditioning.

The room itself was amazing. VERY spacious, nice kitchen, roomie bathroom, TV in living room and one of the rooms. We loved it.

The Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 1 is within 13 km of the guest house. The guest house features family rooms. Such a lovely host and hostess. A beautiful property. This was the place which had a great sunset view. Quite place and so well organized. Our room was in 2nd floor and right opposite to the room we were supplied with cutlery, water bottles, fridge and all essentials. It is slightly far from any hotels or restaurants, hence having Cutlery made us eat our food nicely. It was summer with 30 degrees and we had a fan in the room which was so good to beat the heat. The best part was when we were exiting at 6.30AM or so quietly, the host runs down to wish us safe travels and a wave! Made me realize that you don't always need to know the language to communicate!!! Thank you for taking care of us so well. Your gesture reminded us of our home where they come out, wave us goodbye and wish us good luck!!

The staff was very helpful and you have the opportunity for a fresh breakfast in the morning. Some nice forest trails near by for an early morning or evening walk. Highly recommended 👍
