This is the biggest surprise of my Indonesia trip! This place located in a small town near Malang. It runs by a family and Mrs. Mary took 2 of her independent rooms as hotel. There is super nice mountain view and the whole atmosphere is sooo chill. The room is quite big. The host even gave us some passion fruits and papaya grown from their farm. It is not far from Mt. Bromo and Tumpak Sewu - both takes 1.5h to drive there. There are hardly any tourists in this small town and when we were walking to a restaurant, the people were so curious and greeting us friendly, the kids on the street waved to us and say hello. It was such an amazing experience! The sunset of with rice field view in the small town is also really really beautiful. There is also a good and modern restaurant 20 min walk from our stay and it is designed to see the sunset with a big balcony, the food is very nice too

This homestay offers free private parking and full-day security. The room has everything you need, it is simple but with comfortable bed, private bathroom and A/C. The host, Budi, is super friendly and helpful. He organized the trip to Bromo mountain for us and everything was perfect and so magic, and for a really good price. He also picked up and leave us at the train station, so kind! And finally he knows Italian really well, amazing host! Grazie and hope to come back soon.

The family who run Mocca are amazing they booked our trip to Mount Ijen, picked us up from the train station and organised our transport to Denpasar airport in Bali. The rooms are very big with a comfy big bed and a really nice modern bathroom. The breakfast is also great and they even made us a packed breakfast to take with us when we had to leave at 4am for the airport. Cannot recommend this place enough!!! 😊
