The room had a nice big window with a lot of light, but good curtains to allow us to sleep in darkness in the morning. The facilities were new and the toilet had shampoo and soap included. The toilet was also very spacious. The owner, Mr. Bloom, was exceptionally nice. Collected and dropped us at the harbour, and was very kind to pick us from a village nearby when we didn't had transportation.

Sisingamangaraja XII International Airport is 130 km from the property. This was for sure the best place I stayed in tuk tuk! The hosts were definitely the best part, so kind and helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I had a fan, toilet paper, towel, free water refills and hot water in the shower which is rare here! It is in a quieter area but not far from delicious food. There is no direct lake access but you can access the lake from any restaurant if you order some food and ask permission :)

I loved staying at Maruba Inn! The property is clean and if you are lucky enough to book a lake view room you are in for a treat with a stunning view across Lake Toba. The beds are big and comfortable and the bathroom is large and has good pressured hot water. The staff are amazing and so friendly and helpful. They really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and make the most of my stay. The restaurant serves delicious food, also with a great view across the lake. I liked everything. The first of many positives was the owner coming to pick me up at the dock. He came back because I had a big suitcase. After spending one night at Juma Cottages, I extended my booking for one more week. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Lake Toba. I strongly recommend Juma to anyone.

Bathroom is big. Room has shelving racks and seating area (both indoors and outdoors). Sufficient power socket available on both sides of the bed.
