We consider it to be even better than Maldives :) Also, he provides the tastiest meals ever, we both agree that it was the best food we ever had in Indonesia. Also appreciate the private western-style bathroom, which was always spotlessly clean. We absolutely love our stay at Nyande and hope to be back when Andy finishes setting up his dive shop. It’s a family-run place made with heart, and you can truly feel it in every detail. Adin, Peni, and Eko made us feel at home from the very first moment — more like friends than hosts — always close, kind, and willing to make everything easy and trustworthy. With them, we organized the best boat trips, everything smooth and perfectly arranged. The food was excellent, tasty and with generous portions. The bathroom was clean and nicely decorated, and the room was simply idyllic, a perfect spot to rest and enjoy. On top of that, the snorkeling right in front of the homestay is amazing. We would definitely come back without hesitation. Thank you for giving us such a special experience! 💙🐠

Guests at Paparisa Homestay will be able to enjoy activities in and around Kri, like hiking. Words can't describe how amazing the experience was. Paparisa is a brand new, small, private and secluded homestay with the nicest houses in Kri Island by far (compared to all the other homestays). The place has five "resort level" cosy houses with ensuite semi-open air bathroom (rare in Raja Ampat), big nice comfortable beds with mosquito net, a small private terrace in each house to relax or to watch the sunset and a small restaurant to enjoy your meals (they are building a nice sunset view big restaurant which they said will be ready by September 2025). They provide towels, toilet paper and linen so no need to bring yours. They have some toiletries but better bring some extra shampoo and shower gel for your convenience. Electricity is available almost half of the day and it is more than enough to charge anything in your room! The sea is just three meters from your door so you can easily swim whenever you want. This is also very convenient for diving or excursion's pickups as the boats pick you up straight from your door to go for diving or for a trip! Also, in walking distance you can snorkel in very amazing home reefs on your own. Paparisa rents for a small amount of money snorkeling equipment and these guys can also arrange several snorkeling trips to anywhere in the area. They also have contacts around so don't hesitate to ask them for anything you need! The communication before arrival through WhatsApp was exceptional and they have helped us a lot with our planning (the boat from Waisai to Kri arranged by them and a lot more). The food in the place is very tasty and feels like home and they are willing to cater any special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan etc).

The most important thing is that there are no rats, no mosquitoes and the guy, Donal, it was a very friendly guy and helpful. His family was very friendly and kind. The property features a private beach area, open-air bath and private parking among other facilities. With quiet street views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. This place looks so beautiful, the family have created such a beautiful, place with shells and driftwood decorating everything, we loved it. The food was incredible and the room was very comfy. The house reef was beautiful and we saw mantas straight from our room! Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay.

Guests at the homestay can enjoy an Asian breakfast, and breakfast in the room is also available. There is a coffee shop, and packed lunches are also available. We stayed in this homestay for 4 days. It was very good time to be there. Our home was very comfortable but later we got know that only our home was the best because we have the bed not the mattress as in the others ones. We have a good view. The family every day to please us the delicious food. They prepared the food 4 times a day although on the page of booking.com was indicated only “ the breakfast included”. The master of the home stay, Ferdinand did the best for us in order to show the most interesting places in this area with board. Every day we were going to the best places for snorkeling and he organized the good filching for my husband. From there we saw several times dauphins and shark. Ferdinand is very kind. His son speaks so it possible easily communicate. Near this homestay there is the village where you can visit the school and church. We went to see the paradise birds and the animal cuscus it easily to do exactly from there. In family there are two beautiful girls who help us to go the mountains. The homestay owner contactes us prior to our arrival to check if we were finding our way (they also offered a taxi pick-up at the harbour) and welcomed us with open arms. The homestay has a nice small garden where we had breakfast. The owners also helped us to arrange our taxi next morning

Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!!
