Whilst a little way out of the main town this was not an issue as transport was arranged and not expensive with pickup and return part of the deal.

If you’re looking for some peace and isolation, this is the place. The only thing is it’s a bit away from Mall Road, but trust me it’s totally worth it. They serve proper homely food and it was super tasty. I was lucky the weather was clear and I got the full view of Kanchenjunga right from the balcony. The room was also really spacious. Definitely a memorable stay.
