Boasting a bar and views of city, La Duse Luxury Rooms is a recently renovated guest house situated in Pescara, 600 metres from Pescara Beach. Among the facilities at this property are a lift and room service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The guest house has private entrance. Location was a perfect distance to the beach, shops, bus and railway station. We loved the marble interior, the room was clean, decorated to a high standard with hot drink facilities and cold drinks in the fridge. The shower was hot, the toiletries provided was a nice addition, lovely fluffy towels. The key code rather than a key for access was quick and easy to use. The motion sensor light gave us peace of mind during the night if needed. It is not necessary to have the room cleaned daily but can be if required. The balcony to watch the hustle and bustle of the busy street was ideal, perhaps a couple of outdoor stools for us nosey people. Spizzo cafe was good for breakfast, the food was tasty, just enough to set us up for a trip to the beach with friendly staff every time.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Casa Alta offers accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi. The property features city and inner courtyard views, and is 31 km from Campo Felice-Rocca di Cambio. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Andrea was a fabulous host from checking in and showing us the facilities and giving us a lot of good tips on what to see and places to eat. He gave us the choice of rooms as we were the only guests that evening and we chose the front room. He did warn us it was the noisiest though as it faced the street but we preferred to have the bathroom inside the room. The other rooms have a bathroom across the corridor which is not shared but for convenience we chose the room with the bathroom inside. The property is well situated and close to all attractions. We got a park right outside and did drive to a couple of places but that was more to save time as we checked in quite late after a long drive. The property was clean and comfortable. The shower was quite large by Italian standards and lovely and hot with great water pressure.

The following morning we had an excellent breakfast......great choice.
