We would highly recommend.

The units are equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, a minibar, a kettle, a bidet, slippers and a wardrobe. Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain views. At the homestay, all units have bed linen and towels. The host Mahmud was so helpful and nice! He has turned the building into a super welcoming hotel for anyone staying in Wadi Musa. He gave us lots of good advice for places to eat, things to do and see in and around Wadi Musa. Also, how to organize our visit in Petra so we would make the most of our time there. Definitely take his advice on activities and feel free to ask anything. He managed to put together a camel ride to Little Petra for all 3 of us which was absolutely incredible. He will not give up until you are happy guests. I would 100% come back to Petra Wooden House and would recommend anyone visiting Petra to stay here. 10/10 host and hotel, with the best rooftop view in the city.

Also, we have dinner with his family and cook together traditional food. The place is new and comfortable. I totally recommend it

One of the best guesthouses we’ve ever stayed at! With all the amenities, facilities and exceptional & accommodating service of Shadi(owner) and his staff Tina, Jessica and etc. We also got to meet several other friendly tourists including Leticia. Also Shadi upgraded our room to one with a very nice view overlooking Petra city center/downtown. Shadi also granted us late check out as we requested. Delicious dinner at extra minimal cost (15 JOD) and breakfast was tasty too. For our early morning trek to Petra after Shadi’s recommendations night before and as we can’t eat breakfast, Shadi and his team prepared lunch box for us with water, some fruits; dates, cereal bar, jam, cheese, honey & orange packed juice. Overall it was extremely fabulous guesthouse. Definitely recommended when in Petra!

The family running the place is very friendly, both the father and son speak good English. The day we visited Petra early in the morning, they pre-prepared our breakfast for us. We also had dinner there one night, which was delicious, and we're invited many times for tea and snacks. Comfortable room, good value for money. Very close to Petra entrance, 2 minutes by car.

Guests can grab a bite to eat in an outdoor dining area and later warm themselves up in their unit's fireplace. Ali and his family were super nice people and we felt at home with them. They welcomed us with fruits and a juice and the apartment was perfect 😍 I highly recommend this place, specially if you are visiting Petra. Ali gave us convenient tips for our trip and we got to spend some time with his family and friends, sharing our experiences and talking about different cultures. The facilities are great. Also the breakfast SuSu made us was delicious. We are really thankful for this experience

Very comfortable and clean room in a traditional style located in the Bedouin village less than 3 kilometers from Petra’s main entrance and 150 meters from the back entrance. The hosts, a lovely local family, were extremely nice and welcoming. They were happy to chat, gave us useful information and cooked delicious dinners for us when we came back from visiting the sites. It was a great pleasure to stay with them and we really enjoyed their company and warm hospitality.

This place and the owner was amazing. It's spacious, comfortable, and beautiful house with everything you need. We felt like it became our second home after the first night. The owner treated us as his own family, spent a lot of time with us and provided with lot of interesting historic facts. We definitely recommend one of his guided tours. Also the place is located in beautiful quiet environment with estonishing view just right next to the Little Petra, from where you can hike to Petra's Monastery in just 2h, or take a shuttle half way. There is also a free shuttle bus from visitor center to Little Petra. This was definitely our best experience in Jordan!!
