We were the only guests as this was the low season, but we still had a very fun time. The location was exceptionally peaceful and we enjoyed falling asleep with the sounds of the nearby forest around us. We enjoyed the breakfast each day very much. The area is ski-oriented so there weren't many businesses open. Still, we enjoyed a bit of hiking to nearby onsen towns like Tsubame Onsen. Sasa-san was even kind enough to prepare a curry rice at the last minute when we arrived after we discovered that all of the nearby restaurants were closed.

Great location! We were able to walk less the 5 minutes to wherever we needed to go. (Restaurants, bars, rental shops, ski resorts.) we were in Japan for about 3 weeks and stayed at multiple hotels and it was by far my favorite! On top of that they served the best breakfast!! Super unique dishes that were absolutely divine! The staff were out of this world helpful, generous, and kind! Super clean environment, beds were comfortable, and the shower pressure was exactly what you needed after a full day of snowboarding! Carlo!!!!! Which is the owner, he was extremely welcoming, very personable, helpful, communicative. Traveling to a new country to snowboard, he was kind enough to take us out exclusively and show us around the mountain so we were comfortable and felt safe. On top of that, we had some trouble with shipping our boardbag, Carlo was kind enough to go out of his way to the deliver the bag to the company himself. He really made our into trip memorable!
