We were met by Asai who explained everything we needed to know including payments, food options, rentals etc. Bungalows are lovely and have a fan which was absolutely fine for us. There are only 6 and they are spaced out from each other so you feel you have privacy. Each bungalow had a nice outdoor seating area. The restaurant served amazing food, we had breakfast every day and dinner once and was really good with very, very generous portions! It's also a lovely setting and if you climb a few stairs there is a rooftop platform for lounging on. Kayaks are available for rental which would be perfect as the property is based amongst the mangroves, unfortunately we didn't get to to this as they were booked out! And yes, the river otter is still there and very cute! You will hear him coming when the dogs go mental lol. As per other reviews it is in a rural location, however based on our research of reviews and being able to ride bikes, this was no problem for us. However even if you don't drive, its a great location for just chilling and relaxing! Property can also support you with tuk tuks to and from the pier. We had a great stay, thank you to Lin, Asai, Lily and family!

The guesthouse and Rooms are very clean, with a really nice design. The overall atmosphere of the place is amazing. The Rooms had everything that I needed, very good amenities in the place. There is a beautiful chill area with a hammock that is perfect for reading. Neighbourhood is nice, not gentrified compared to other places on the island. Amazing host that helps with everything and gives recommendations.

Friend of Nature Bungalow is a recently renovated guest house in Koh Rong Island, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a water park. The accommodation features a business centre, room service and currency exchange for guests. Amazing place located in a very quiet area of the island immersed in the local community. I really liked the bungalows right above the water. The Cottages are simple but don't lack amenities like power and shower. the beds are very nice too. You can use the kayak to go into the mangroves free of charge. Again, very comfortable quiet and wholesome.

Guests at the homestay will be able to enjoy activities in and around Kaôh Rŭng (5), like snorkelling. I liked the peaceful place and the natural wooden house. The place is a bit difficult to find, once found, it's easy to just stay there. The host Johnny is also very helpful with arranging scooters or anything else.

Rooms include a patio with garden views. - early check in and late check out. Thanks to John we gained 1,5days of out time in the island <3 - location of Blondies is at the end of the infrastructure, so it was calmly there, - great restaurant nearby - room was specious, bed was comfy - there was a fridge in a room and huge jug of water which was super helpful because we didn't have to buy water throughout our stay - John told us about wonderful snorkeling place and lent us glasses for free, so we had a wonderful time watching fish

Sam was the best host ever, she knew the best spots for snorkelling, where to go to see the plankton at night, best places to eat in town, best routes for hiking. MPai Bay is a small place but we would have had to go on private tours to do all the things we did if we hadn't had Sam's advice.

Perfect location close to the ferry pier. Super friendly staff and very clean rooms. Great value for money if you just need to spend a night or two. Can’t say anything about breakfast as I left very early.
