The guesthouse is located a little outside the busy town of Kandy, which turned out to be a big plus – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!), and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and heartwarming stay in Kandy!

The house is like a flower vase, surrounded by a beautiful garden, which is maintained adorably by the owner. Architecture and interior inside the house is something amazing. The serenity, specially if u seat quietly in the balcony at night, is mesmerizing. The owner is very welcoming and cordial. Breakfast was good too.

A car rental service is available at the homestay. The homestay hosts were so lovely and kind. We really felt taken care of. The room was so clean with a big bathroom. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend them for a homestay experience!

A secret garden not far from Kandy’s City Center. Beautiful villa full of flowers designed in the way you feel like you are living in a jungle with charming little swimming pool in the middle , rooms are so beautiful! Full of colorful artifacts , masks and other symbols connected to Sri Lanka, very cosy bathroom (shower). If that wasn’t enough owner is most wonderful, most friendly most kind person in Sri Lanka , he was so helpful , guided us with everything, gave us really useful tips about what and when to see , where to go , possibilities of our journey , recommended nice cheap place to eat. This the best place to stay in Kandy!

Kandy Museum is 1.6 km away and Ceylon Tea Museum is 5.5 km from the homestay. The accomodation is a bit on a hill but easy to reach with a tuktuk 1-2 Euros (or walking for 15 minutes). The room was very modern and the accomodation has a great view. We saw monkeys on the terrace in the morning. The Sri Lankan breakfast they was amazing as well.

I loved my stay in this spacious, spotlessly clean room - complete with a relaxing bathtub and stunning view - all at a very reasonable price. The host was exceptionally kind, responsive, and always ready to help.

Boasting free bikes and views of garden, SERENE HOME is a recently renovated homestay situated in Kandy, 3.2 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. This homestay features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The homestay has family rooms. This place of Sri and his family is a truly hidden gem. So much love and calm you will find there within a truly authentic local experience. Highly recommend to stay there. We just stayed on night unfortunately but everything was truly amazing. Lovely host, communication, incredible breakfast and the room/house is in such a good calm nature area, still close to the city if you want to experience kandy.
