He went out of his way to ensure that I got the most out of my stay and was so kind and helpful in helping me with travel arrangements. He recommended a wonderful elephant safari with a very knowledgeable and experienced guide which I really enjoyed. This was a great base for exploring Polonaruwa and I would highly recommend Binara Homestay.

They invited us into their home and treated us like part of their family. They invited us to celebrated the new year with them. It was an amazing experience and Aruna and his wife and daughters are truly amazing hosts. The room was clean and comfortable - no complaints there - as advertised. We were able to also rent a scooter from Aruna to go exploring more the ancient city which was very helpful. All in all we had a fabulous time - only sad that we could not stay longer.

Ravi organized bikes for us to use to see the ruins. He also set up an elephant safari with an excellent guide, Shiron. He was knowledgeable and showed us some incredible birds. He had a knack for getting us in the right spots for elephant viewing and was respectful to give the elephants space. Highly recommend a trip with him. We also recommend the morning trip as he said in the afternoons sometimes there are 200 jeeps!
