Perfect stay at Iguana Azul in Chefchaouen My friend and I stayed at Iguana Azul for three nights and absolutely loved it. Our room was spotless, fresh, and felt almost new. The bed was huge and super comfortable, with two separate blankets — no fighting over the covers at night! There was also air conditioning, which made it even more comfortable. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and were always ready to assist with anything — whether it was questions about things to do in the area or helping us book a cooking class or hammam visit. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, and the rooftop terrace is a beautiful, peaceful place to relax. The location is perfect too: right in the heart of Chefchaouen’s charming little streets. We truly felt at home and taken care of. This place is a gem and we’ll definitely come back. All units in the homestay are fitted with a coffee machine. There is a private bathroom with walk-in shower in some units, along with bathrobes, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the homestay, units come with bed linen and towels. One of the best places I have stayed in, and it helped ensure that Tangier was my favorite stop in Morocco. The location is unbeatable and the staff are simply the loveliest, kindest people. Breakfast (and welcome tea and snacks) were incredible. Anything you needed was organised and at a great price - they even arranged me a round trip taxi to Ceuta the night before and a taxi to the bus station at short notice. Very spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated room, kitchen access and spotlessly clean bathroom. They refused to let me pay for a load of laundry. Thank you for everything!
