Hot showers, comfortable bed, very large space, impeccably clean, coffee maker with coffee and tea. Our host gave found us an amazing breakfast restaurant and a ride to the airport. We picked the right place and knew we would be taken care of. The location is great, our balcony was a treat and the rooftop plunge pool offered amazing views. It’s in a gated community with a security guard at the entrance 24/7 so if you’re concerned about feeling secure this is an excellent place. The beach is minutes away and it is gorgeous. White sand and turquoise water and plenty of local seafood very close by. It’s also close to the ferry to Isla Mujeres. The room itself is compact but comfortable. The king bed helped a lot and the AC was nice and cold.

Located less than 1 km from Playa Holbox, EncantaLuna offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. To reiterate what I had read in some reviews for this place, this guesthouse is a hidden gem! My friend and I loved our room. It had everything we needed. It was also very clean. The shower had warm water, which is not always a given. The outdoor space has chairs and hammocks in the shade to hang out. EncantaLuna is away from the noisy center, and is still a short walk to reach "downtown" and the main beach. For the price you pay, EncantaLuna is a no-brainer. The owners, Erika and Luca, were really wonderful, easily reachable, communicative, and always willing to help and give recommendations. They have a wiener dog, Marvin, who is also adorable. :) Would definitely stay there again!

An incredibly charming family welcomed us, and we immediately took them to heart... and I believe they did the same with us. Even though we speak only a few words of Spanish and they don't speak English, we got along well. Whenever we needed help or had questions, they were immediately ready and incredibly hospitable. Here, you live together and get to see what the "local life" is like. There's a communal kitchen for guests, a rooftop terrace for relaxing, and even a water refill station. The rooms are simple and functional. Another plus is that in the morning, you can hear a wonderful concert of birds upon waking up; the jungle is right next door. Simply marvelous, we felt very comfortable here and would come back anytime.

This house was very comfortable and well-organised with everything you could need. It’s in a nice part of Cancún that is by the beach but not too touristy. I arrived with food poisoning and the hosts were very caring and thoughtful.
