They were the most genuine, caring people, it was so nice to stay with them. Highly recommend to stay here!! Ideally for multiple days so you can really unwind, slow down, soak in the beauty...

This place was just what I needed to have a good early start for Trolltunga. Note that the room had a dedicated parking spot (saving 500 NOK) that had to be vacated before the next people checked in.

The floors in the room and many other floors were clean. This hotel didn't have horrible smelly dirty and dusty carpets. The beds were really good (by far the best of this trip). The staff is friendly. Special thanks for the neatness and cleanliness. The selection of breakfast was basic, but the quality of what was offered was good and everything was extremely fresh. The degree of doneness of the hard-boiled chicken eggs was like something from the Michelin chef's manual. If I ever had an issue in the vicinity of this hotel, I wouldn't consider any other hotel. The best overnight stay of the entire almost three-week trip. Simple, very clean and tidy, excellent beds and silence.

The couch was super nice with warm wool blankets. Bedroom is a separate nook. Eidfjord is super cute I would definitely recommend a visit. We did kayaking, used the free public sauna on the north beach, and did a small hike up to a viewpoint. There is great coffee and pastries at Vik’s bakery and we saw a cruise ship come in on our last day! Also just a short 20min drive to the big waterfall.
