The owner is warm and attentive, the surrounding area feels magical, and the rooms are tastefully and simply decorated. Both the breakfast and dinner, which are included, are absolutely delicious and tastefully presented.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The inn was of mud brick and nicely decorated. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was lovely and hot. The location was great, near a deserted mud brick village and a date plantation. It was a short walk into town. From the Inn it’s a short drive to Misfah La Abriyyin, which is definitely worth a visit.

The area is popular for hiking, and free use of bicycles is available at the homestay. An indoor play area is also available for guests at 228Hostel. Incredible owner of that place :) He is very open, helpful with everything, and he is a super nice person to talk to. Here I understand and know omanian culture more and met really interesting people. Fun fact: 228Hostel is so far the only hostel in Oman :) Everything in the hostel works perfectly. There is a fridge, toaster, microwave, hot shower, laundry for additional fee, there are mosquito nets in the windows of each room, and even hairdryer in the ladie's room :) Also, there is a rooftop space for relaxation and views during sunsets and sunrises :)) WiFi works great! You can borrow a bicycle to see the village. I found here everything that I needed during my trip and more... :) I recommend this hostel for every traveler with open mind.

The location, the food and our host Hamed were all excellent. The host sat with us after dinner to talk about the history of the village. I would definitely come back to this place.

Its a restored ancient house overlooking the green palm groves and situated at the top of the house the famous Rogan Castle built more than 1500 years ago. It was an exceptional experience from the moment we reached the inn until we left. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the view was stunning from every corner in the inn

There is a sitting area backside of the property. Rooms smells very nice. Kitchen is very clean. You have tea dust, coffee powder, sugar, toast maker, fridge, microwave and kettle. Room was clean. All linen are clean and new. I surely recomend others to stay in this property.
