The staff, however, is absolutely the best: both Anne and Vítor were super considerate and helpful, our car broke down 5 minutes away on arrival and they both gave us rides on different days, Vítor even went around with us to several car shops trying to find us a fix. We'll definitely be back!

For such a generous room size and high-quality amenities, it truly exceeded our expectations. We had a great night’s sleep! A special shoutout to Vitor, who made our stay even more memorable. His hospitality and attentiveness were outstanding, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I can’t recommend Casa dos Bijos enough, this place is a hidden gem. We forgot a pair of glasses and the owner promptly mailed it to us and refused to charge us for it. Great experience! The units feature a private bathroom, a hair dryer and bed linen. Firstly we had such a warm welcome by the host when we arrived. The room and private shower room was really nice and very clean. The bed was so comfortable. The air con in the room was great too! Shower was powerful which we loved especially after a long hike doing the fisherman’s trail. There was a small kitchen area to use a fridge and to make teas and coffees. This was great for the morning before we set off on our hike. This was the best place we stayed on the entire trail!
