The little Pension St. Maria is located 15 km north Banska Bystrica, in the Velka Fatra and Nizke Tatry/Low Tatras national park and consists of 2 buildings, a garden with a creek in the middle. It offers an exterior Finnish sauna, a hot tub and free Wi-Fi, as well as free bikes. This place is great. We used only for oversleeping during our trip, but definitely thinking about going there for some holiday

The traditional Slovak mountain cottage - Penzión Damisport - is located right in the centre of the village of Donovaly, in the central parking area only 50 meters from the ski resort.

The guest house has 5 rooms. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and a balcony with a view of the mountains of the Low Tatras National Park. Rooms are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, refrigerator, and coffee/tea making facilities. Wow! So much space, delicious food, amazing staff.. all for very cheap. I can’t speak highly enough and wish I could rate this place 11 stars.

We had a fantastic stay in apartment with Mountain View for two. The space may be on the smaller side, but it is incredibly well-designed, cozy, really clean, warm, comfortable, well-equipped with everything we needed and more- essentials like shower gel, shampoo, a hairdryer, and other thoughtful touches were provided, making our stay even more convenient. We took our mall dog with us she enjoyed the location as well. We would definitely recommend it and would love to return!
