The owners are very hands-off, but said to call him if I needed anything at all. I left my used cups and garbage bin on the porch on morning and it was all cleaned and taken care of when I got home in the evening. Great!

They give great advice on where to go and give you a lift each time you need to go to the bus or train station. Rooms are basic but a good size and a fridge with water you get each day. The location is perfect with a lovely garden and you're right next to a local market if you fancy a Thai breakfast. Easy bike ride into town to the night markets and main strip, imo if you come to kanchanaburi this is the area you want to stay in. You can hire bikes to get into town only 40 baht and can hire a motorbike if you want to travel further away.
