The downstairs room was large and there were two lofts. Each with a single bed. Mouna took excellent care of everything for us, and her breakfast was very nice. El Kantaoui Golf Course is 10 km from the guest house and Medinat Alzahra Parc is 17 km away. A terrific place to stay in the medina. We had a large room with double bed, twin bed and a little dressing room alcove. Everything felt authentic, tile work, painted coffered ceiling, window latticework. You do need to walk through part of the medina to reach it, it felt quite safe and was well lit at night. There are actually 3 houses that form Dar Baaziz, each a short distance from the others. Our breakfast was served in the 3rd house and was ample, although the coffee was awful. There are steps in the alleyways and it's steep in places so it would be difficult with a lot of luggage since you can't get there by taxi. WARNING the medina is full of stray cats and kittens and it made us sad to see this every time we walked around.
