Good base for Beito district if you want to avoid the pricey hotels, was using the metro alot which requires lots of walking but don't mind doing so.

With city views, this accommodation provides a balcony. This 5-star homestay offers private entrance. Very new (only 3 months old!) so everything was in good shape. Free coffee and tea, and a small basket of snacks/instant noodles you’re welcome to take from. The owner is kind and even brought us breakfast an hour before we were set to leave, etc.

All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. The units come with a kettle, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while some rooms come with a balcony and some have sea views. At the homestay, each unit includes bed linen and towels. Quite location, which is good as I don't like to stay too close to the crowded and noisy old street. The room (deluxe double room with balcony) is clean and spacious, the bathroom is big and it has a separate bathtub. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The girl who received us was super nice and friendly. The breakfast is also nice too. And the thing we like the most is the location of the house, just follow the instructions and then you just have to walk about 3-5 mins to get to the house without climbing the stairs dragging the luggage.

The hotel was a cute B&B and only a five minute walk from the train station. Great location!

Great B&B a stone's throw from the Golden Waterfall. Large room, air con, fridge etc. Large terrace overlooking the sea in one direction and the mountains in the other. Sun beds there too if you have the time. Very clean, nice breakfast. Incredibly friendly hosts. Highly recommended. short drive to Jiufen. Great drives in all direction along the coast.
