While the building itself is basic the rooms have everything you need: comfortable bed and pillows, mosquito net, ceiling fan, somewhere to sit that isn't the bed and places to hang your drying towels (and clothes if you've done some handwashing). Aly was also very helpful at organising excursions and taxis for us, while Bunda cooked fresh, delicious and generous meals (including a good amount of vegetables, which can be hard to come by). The homestay is close enough to the airport that you can walk there if you have packs (not ok for wheelie suitcases) and don't mind a hot walk. The ATMs are also a short walk further than the airport so they are also accessible. We appreciated our stay so much that we returned for second stay before leaving the island.
