This recently renovated homestay is located less than 1 km from Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and a 11-minute walk from Times Square. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The shared kitchen had everything to prepare meals. Filtered water, coffee, sugar and basic pantry items were available for the guests. The fridge had a portion segregated for each room. The patio had a few chairs and umbrellas and was a great place to have coffee in the morning and relax in the evenings. Staff was always available in case we had any questions/issues. While it was cold (-15 degrees Celsius), she lent me her jacket and this, during almost all my stay! As a bonus, she took the time to explain to my companion and me what are the secret routes and paths of New York (including a magnificent mosaic!). As for the room, it is spacious, perfectly heated in winter, cleaned and tidied by the host every day. The room has all the necessary luxuries: bathrobes, teas/coffees, several shower gels with different smells, .... Little extras that really make a difference! The place has a crazy charm with a unique decoration. I travel regularly and this accommodation is one of those that I will not forget.
