The communication is not always easy but we try our best through a translation app. The food our host cooked for us was out of this world, probably some of the best food we had in Vietnam over a month of travelling there! Her husband took us on a day trip on the lake, we had the best time and the region is definitely worth a visit it's gorgeous. The common bathroom was clean and everyone in the homestay was respectful.

I believe there is only one restaurant so make sure you prepare for that. Overall I loved my stay and would definitely return if I had the chance.
