Located in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, Monday Saigon Centre Homestay is a recently renovated accommodation, which provides soundproof rooms. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests. We loved our six-night stay here. The manager was helpful from even before we checked in with tips about how to get to the property from the airport. We arrived late at night and while HCMC can be daunting to navigate with its maze of small alleys, she sent us detailed maps and photos detailing how to get there then met us at the door. The location is quite central, just a few metres to Bui Vien walking street (yet very quiet in the room) and less than a half hour walk to Independence Palace, the War Remnants museum, and many other tourist spots. The room was clean and updated and she checked in often to see if we wanted the room cleaned. And when I had an issue getting the cash to pay for the room she didn’t make a fuss and accommodated us until I could get my finances sorted. (My bank’s issue, nothing in Vietnam.) I highly recommend this property and plan to stay here again when I’m back through HCMC in a few weeks.

Everything was awesome during my stay here. The host Tom was extremely helpful and hospitable.
