The host family was incredible. Both sisters spoke very good english, and everyone was so welcoming. Food was incredible, best in Sa Pa and some of the best I’ve had in Vietnam. They offered a wide range of activities, we did some batik painting and a cooking class - both of which we highly recommend. Would have loved to do one of the trekking tours but we were short on time. There was plenty to see around their property and rice fields too. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Sa Pa

Our experience at Hmong Sister House was a delightful blend of culinary exploration and social connection. The Buffalo trek allowed us to immerse ourselves in Hmong culture, but it was the authentic local dishes that truly captivated our taste buds. From the aromatic pho to the crispy spring rolls, each dish was a testament to Vietnam's culinary heritage. Gathering around the communal table, we realized that food was not only a source of nourishment but also a bridge to forging new friendships. The house is a little far from the center of Sapa but easy to travel to the town. This minor inconvenience was overshadowed by the connections and cherished moments we formed at the homestay. The water pressure fluctuations were like gentle reminders of the natural flow of experiences, adding a unique rhythm to our stay.

The location of the place and cafe is very good, there is a stream in front of you, it will take a little adventure but everything is worth it. Just bring up the camera and you have beautiful pictures. - My room has a panoramic view so I just want to stay in the room all day. Comfy and cozy bed, it only takes a few minutes to lie in bed and you can fall into a good night's sleep. - The host was very friendly and supportive that made me feel at home. They can arrange to pick you up from before you go to Sapa until you arrive the homestay with a better deal than other regular taxi in Sapa. - The food was delicious and reasonable price!!! De Mong has all the food you need without having to go far. - Happy - the dog and Pam - the cat are really adorable ❤️ Must goooooooo again & again!!! 💞💞💞

All rooms come with a balcony with mountain views. Moc’s House was a rural oasis after the chaos of Hanoi. The proprietor, Huong, was wonderfully welcoming and an excellent host. We loved the room, the setting and the hospitality. Huong was very comfortable with Google Translate and was happy to accommodate us in any way. The place was spotless, the heater worked well and there was ample hot water for showers. The view over the valley was lovely. The setting would be even more delightful in warmer weather when the beautiful decks could be put to good use. It is a 20-25 minute walk into town (Sunday market).

Beautiful place and wonderful host! The bungalow was very nice and incredibly clean inside. The owner is a lovely, smiling woman who helped us organize a taxi from Hanoi and also arranged our airport transfer. She also supported us in planning great local tours - everything at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and friendly stay. Thank you so much!

Mao and all the staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible experience! The room and view was outstanding. A nice perk was that breakfast was included (I got fruit and french toast one day & a banana crepe the next). We ate dinner there and it was one of the best meals I’ve had (tofu and rice). The location is out of the way of Sa Pa town but it was nice because it was quiet & had a great view! The bed was HUGE- check out the attached photo- my husband is 6’1” for reference.
