I came to Phong Nha expecting to embark on a 6D5N caving and hiking tour. However it was cancelled at the last minute due to the typhoon and rains. Tutu was able to accommodate me for 8 nights instead of the original 2 nights at late notice, arranged to pick me up at 5am after my sleeper bus arrived from Hanoi, and helped me to plan my day by day activities by checking in with tour providers on the availability of tours based on safety and water levels. I would not have survived without her assistance and help! My time in Phong Nha was made all the more beautiful with the amazing breakfast at the homestay, the well-maintained facilities and clean room, and interacting with members of her extended family and other guests. Truly the best homestay experience I have had! As a female solo traveller, I felt incredibly safe and well taken care of at Tutu’s homestay :)

The homestay features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We liked the owner the most ! He was very helpful, friendly and nice. He can to pick us up at 6am from DongHoi then took us to the stay. We had a nice breakfast, and already could check in to our room. Afterwards, he drove us to the Paradise Cave and to the Botanical garden - everything was arranged in the way we planned. He also helped to book our bus next day to Hue. Room was big and clean. I highly recommend this stay 😊
