She went above and beyond—helped us retrieve a lost bag from the bus in the middle of the night, arranged a late check-in, and even made us a special breakfast. I came to Phong Nha expecting to embark on a 6D5N caving and hiking tour. However it was cancelled at the last minute due to the typhoon and rains. Tutu was able to accommodate me for 8 nights instead of the original 2 nights at late notice, arranged to pick me up at 5am after my sleeper bus arrived from Hanoi, and helped me to plan my day by day activities by checking in with tour providers on the availability of tours based on safety and water levels. I would not have survived without her assistance and help! My time in Phong Nha was made all the more beautiful with the amazing breakfast at the homestay, the well-maintained facilities and clean room, and interacting with members of her extended family and other guests. Truly the best homestay experience I have had! As a female solo traveller, I felt incredibly safe and well taken care of at Tutu’s homestay :)

The host was so friendly with a free pickup and he gave us a lot of good information about Phong Nha. We could also rent scooters there and could even swim in the hotel after check out.
