This hostel is one of the best we’ve stayed in. it’s clean, comfy, has a great vibe and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. They regularly clean the kitchen and bathrooms throughout the day and every morning come round to offer clean towels and to hoover your room! We stayed in a private room which had a little sink in it which we found to be a nice touch! The beds were comfy, the linen was clean. they had a good variety of social activities that were organised by the hostel. The kitchen was clean and had lots of space too and seating areas. The location was perfect, the hostel ran free shuttles all day into the evening. Overall a great hostel! Would highly recommend!

As always YHA didn’t disappoint. The place is spacious, has a nice terrace and work space, big kitchen. And the staff is very friendly.

Great location walking distance into the main parts of Byron bay and the beach. The Hostel was peaceful at night with a friendly atmosphere during the day amongst fellow guests. There is a nice outdoor space with a big lawn and outdoor benches. The showers were clean and the private double bedroom was a good size with storage and fresh clean bedding. There was a good ceiling fan.
