Very clean, big kitchen, watched spider-man in the cinema room, enjoyed the jacuzzi for myself! Made a mistake with my booking and the staff gave me a better room just for $10 extra! (Because of low season, I was the only one sharing the dorm room!) Best Hostel I stayed in for the last 15 years of travelling! 🤩✈️

Ritz is family! i've spent my first four months in australia there and i must say i would come back there (maybe soon :P) as it really holds precious memories. i stayed in the 10 Female dorm and it was amazing room with plenty of space, windows and light. cleanings are regular and well made, people are willing to make you fill at home and kitchen is spacious. Ritz can only be experienced on your own skin to understand how special it is! i'm travelling around australia right now and Ritz keeps strongly his gold ranking #1 . i miss you Ritz!

Great staff, especially Luke. Give that man a pay rise. I have to say, Luke's check-in performance was the highlight of our stay! Move over, stand-up comedians, we've got a new star in town! Luke not only checked us in swiftly, but he did it with such flair and enthusiasm that I half expected a drumroll and confetti. His helpfulness reached superhero levels - I'm pretty sure he could find a needle in a haystack blindfolded. Need extra towels? Luke's got you. Want insider tips for the city? He's your guy. Need a recommendation for dinner? Luke practically moonlights as a culinary critic. And let's not forget the bar! If Luke were a drink, he'd be a mix of charm, wit, and a dash of mischief. In short, Luke turned what could have been a regular check-in into a sidesplitting, unforgettable experience. Move over, world, because Luke's in town, and he's checking guests in like a rockstar. Bravo, Luke, Bravo! 🎤🍸

Location was good. Close to tram line. Lots of cafes near by. I only had one interaction with staff on check in and she was friendly. There was aircon and a fan in the room which helped with comfort levels on the really hot night I was there. Size of the room was good. Seems like quite a good place for backpackers and people wanting to meet new people as there are ample spaces to interact with others (at the pool table, the lounge area, the tables scattered around the hostel).

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Modern, clean, comfortable and new. They’ve been very clever in using technology (Bluetooth locks opened with an app on your phone). Great location near the Queen Victoria Markets and within the free tram zone.

Great location . Comfortable double private room. I choose this backpackers for my 18 year old daughter who was travelling alone based on previous reviews that said it was ideal for solo travellers. She was able to meet people easily and said that both the staff and the quests were super friendly and she felt very safe. The party atmosphere helped 😃
