The location is perfect! 15min walking from the botanical gardens so you can get there before the crowd and take the touristic bus line from there. There is a big kitchen and everything (common area, bathroom, bedroom) is perfectly clean!

This hostel was excellent! Top notch! Outstanding! The rooms were well sized for the price, and the staff was outstanding. They helped me with all kinds of tips, and they spoke native-level English! Shoping Mueller was a good place to go near by, and there was a restaurant called Al Beek Gastronomia Arabe that served the closed thing to a German Doner Kebab that I have had in South America. Everything was amazing! I stayed especially here to go and visit the botanical garden. It's just a 15 minutes walk. The rooms are spacious, you can store all your luggage in a locked storage under the bed. Extra blankets in case it gets cold. A dimmed light which turns on due to a motion sensor so you don't have to switch on the bright head lamp which could disturb others at night. Breakfast is more than average, different kind of cakes and jam for your bread, delicious!

Relatively central, very clean and modern. Stayed in both the private room and the shared dormitories and it was brilliant. Great vibes, social and super friendly. Well equipped kitchen.

Staff was very helpful and most of them spoke good English, which isn’t common in Brazil. Location wasn’t far from restaurants, etc. Dorm was big enough to move around and have your stuff stored, and the shower had hot water.
