It is European-like standard (very uncommon in my experience here) except that not overpriced :D. Breakfast was excellent, staff super friendly, the lounge is a dream with swimming pool and plants, bbq place, all rooms with terrace to it. My double bed room with aircon felt just like 5 star hotel! Near to the hottest spots in beach and town. Absolutely recommended.

    I have stayed in many hostels in different countries, and this was one of my absolute favorites! The staff was excellent and very welcoming, and they even made me vegan breakfast in the morning! They also introduced me to the other people in the hostel, so it was easy to get in touch even though I don’t speak Portuguese :) The location is fantastic: right at the beach, and you can walk along the coast into the city; most tours will pick you up at the door. It's just perfect! I would stay here again.
