I booked a single room to pre-study for school and the host gave me a double room with a large table and a chair to study! Shower never gets cold, and even had cookware. Got a lot done in those two days I stayed.

Great place. Very clean, friendly staff. Even in a room with 16 beds, you have some privacy as the rooms are sectioned off into 4-bed areas. A 10 minute walk to the bus stop where you can get anywhere you need to in the city. It's not cheap but I think it's the cheapest place to stay in Vancouver, and of course Vancouver is an expensive city. I'd stay here again for sure.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
