The hostel is high up on a hill from the town of Grindelwald which provides an amazing view of the Eiger as you are sitting in the back yard if you choose to have breakfast there, or in the evening by the fire. Everyone there treats you like family. It is an amazing place.

Eiger lodge is one of the best places to stay in Grindelwald . The staff on the front desk , cleaning and kitchen all of them to a top notch job . The breakfast they serve was one of the best in Switzerland .

This hostel is beautiful both in regards to the location, the building itself and the rooms/facilities. I had a room to myself with an ensuite and the bathroom was impeccable. Windows in my room facing the mountains and plenty of space for my luggage and snow gear. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. Breakfast was excellent, lots on offer and a gorgeous little eating area looking out to the mountains. Can’t fault this stay! Reception staff were extremely helpful with bookings, directions and recommendations. Will definitely come back and recommend to anyone travelling to interlaken!

Location is beautiful The view from the room was stunning. Calm village where you will be hearing lot of water sounds every where The room and Bathroom were maintained very clean also Kitchen. The receptionist was very nice and helpful
