It's quite impossible to list all the things that make us stayed almost one week in Tukawa. The welcome we received on our arrival already was a foretaste of a memorable stay. All the activities and services offered in this hostel are amazing ! The property is located just around the corner from the main square so it’s easy to get to restaurants etc. It’s also not far to walk to the viewpoint ‘Mirador colina illuminada’ which has amazing views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. The room was simple but clean and the bed was comfortable. Tea/coffee is provided at pretty much all times of day in the reception. The family that run the hostel were really lovely and made us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to organise a tour into Barbas Bremen nature reserve to see howler monkeys with a local guide at very short notice. Leandro in particular was a great host and we went out for a mountain bike tour with him of the surrounding countryside which was loads of fun. There is a nice little chill out space with hammocks in the middle of the hostel that came in handy. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was amazing! The host was friendly, felt like home! Clean, beautiful, excellent food, hot tub was great. Bus stop right across the road, walking distance to river with lovely restaurants. I didn’t want to leave!!!
