All the activities and services offered in this hostel are amazing ! We booked here for an overnight stay to get from Salento to Bogota (as many people do here) and it was the perfect decision. When you arrive in Armenia bus terminal just take a Taxi which should costs 5K Pesos and brings you there in 5 minutes. If they haven’t changed it yet, the pin on google maps points to the wrong house on the other side of the street, but for the taxi drop-off that doesn‘t matter much. You are welcomed by a super friendly elderly couple, José and Estrella. Simple, cosy and quiet rooms with one shared bathroom on the same floor – everything very clean. They serve you a very decent colombian breakfast on the veranda in front of a beautiful garden, sometimes even a bird-watching spectacle included ;-) It was definitely one of the most lovely experiences with hosts in our 3-month Colombia journey. To get back to the bus terminal on the next morning, Estrella just called a taxi for us. It arrived 5 minutes after. Everything super easy and enjoyable.

The property is located just around the corner from the main square so it’s easy to get to restaurants etc. It’s also not far to walk to the viewpoint ‘Mirador colina illuminada’ which has amazing views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. The room was simple but clean and the bed was comfortable. Tea/coffee is provided at pretty much all times of day in the reception. The family that run the hostel were really lovely and made us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to organise a tour into Barbas Bremen nature reserve to see howler monkeys with a local guide at very short notice. Leandro in particular was a great host and we went out for a mountain bike tour with him of the surrounding countryside which was loads of fun. There is a nice little chill out space with hammocks in the middle of the hostel that came in handy. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, quiet spot with comfortable rooms and a cute shared area for dining/relaxing. We ended up being the only two people there (in fairness, it was mid-week in the off-season), but Gloria was SUPER responsive over WhatsApp and really helpful with arranging a coffee tour and getting us around. She even lent us some umbrellas when we got caught in a huge downpour! Loved the hospitality.

Excellent location and place to stay. Clean and very good value for money. Other parts of town can get very noisy. This hotel hostel is located close to the bus station and 5 minutes walk to the main square. Ara supermarket and pharmacy are next door. They have a kitchen facilty which is clean for you to cook.
