The host was impeccable. I was surprised she knew my name the day after check-in. We did not interact in between and this made me feel really welcome. She even helped us out when our shuttle was cancelled last minute by calling several companies. The provided coffee was lovely and the friday yoga looked good. The communal area felt like a beach house and the slight breeze just made it even better. There was plenty of space in the dorm and next to your bed to keep your things. Beds were comfortable. Lockers were provided (bring your lock) and could easily store a backpack you bring on the plane. If you get cold during the night be sure to grab an extra blanket. It can get cold in Monteverde during the night.

The staff were so nice, especially the owner Raudin was very friendly and tried to make everything as easy as possible. You can tell that he really wants to improve the facilities. Really great value for money with the breakfast included! The location is also great and there were many people staying at the hostel, so felt very social as well! Special shoutout for the cute dog Mia!!!

Really nice place with beautiful view! White-faced capuchin came to say hi during our stay. Breakfast was nice and we ended up extending 3 more days to enjoy relaxing environment here. The day we left we needed to wait for our bus until afternoon and they let us stay at the common area until then.
