Hostels in Nosara

This is the best place to stay if you want to see the arribada of turtles! The starting point of the tours is just right across the street. Ostional is quite far to drive from other locations, it is advisable to drive there in daylight and stay in the village for a night. The house is basic but comfortable, the rooms have AC and stable wifi. The hosts were super kind depsite the language barrier.

There is something very special at Casa Terra. From the moment you walk in you can tell the hostel is about the people, from how the owners share their whole selves in adding art and creating spaces for community, to how they are constantly interested and know about their guests and connecting them to the Samara community. The passion of the owners is palpable. The owners are all deeply experienced in hostels; the rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and the people and vibes are immaculate. It is far away from town to feel secluded and make incredible connections in a peaceful environment (people do not feel a need to be on their phones) while still a short walk (10 mins) to enjoy Samara. The sunsets shared as a hostel are wonderful and drive an immediate sense of community too. For those who want peace and community, this is your place. Excellent value for money. The owners are very friendly and helpful with anything you might need and a nice chilled vibe around the place. Since it's a little outside the town too it's nice and peaceful at night.

Everything was perfect! The best hostel, the rooms are big and clean, there are activities every day, it's the perfect place to meet new people! The staff are great and make you feel at home! If you are staying in Samara I recommend this place 100%!

Everything is good.nice people too

The breakfast was really generous and delicious, including lots of fresh local fruit. I have a gluten intolerance and Tommy was so accommodating, he even got his friend Olga to come over and make corn tortillas some mornings! My room was lovely and big, and there was high pressure in the shower. The communal kitchen has everything you need, and everywhere was really clean. The pool is great for cooling off. The outdoor dining area is relaxed and sociable, and Tommy was always about, with a very calm, kind presence, to answer any questions or requests. There's a really chill atmosphere. The perfect music is always playing softly in the background. It takes a minute to walk to the beach (I could hear the waves from my room at night) and it is a peaceful 20 minute walk along the beach to the centre of Samara. There's a local restaurant and supermarket about 300 metres from the accommodation. It's the perfect location for relaxing while enjoying Samara. I was very unwell towards the end of my stay, and Tommy and Olga were so kind, the level of kindness that restores faith in humanity. They were incredibly caring and really went over and above to help me. Needless to say I would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you so much Tommy!

Wow what an awesome place! Pablo and Malvi are super lovely and helpful, and are busy creating a beautiful space for travellers. We stayed in the new tent platform out back - it was peaceful, cool and comfy, we slept great. Kitchen facilities are good, the hostel is clean and airy with different spaces to relax and loads of stunning murals to enjoy. The location is ideal, it's an easy walk into town/beach and had nice sodas and shops very nearby. Quiet back street that felt safe and has off-road parking right outside. Highly recommend!
