Hosts were absolutely lovely and very hospitable. The lodge is cosy and a community atmosphere is created in the lounge and dining areas. Very environmentally friendly systems in place too. All we could have wished for and more for our Cairngorms holiday.

    I liked the atmosphere in the hostel, how I was welcomed by the staff. I appreciated that I shared my room only with girls while I had chosen 'mixed dormitory', I felt an effort had been made to put women in the same room. I found the kitchen clean and well organized and that it was easy to get to different places from the hostel.
