I visited the Bunkhouse with my wife and a 17 years old daughter after driving a whole day throughout applecross mountain road. The outside surrounding area was very quite and the bedroom was very clean with comfortable mattress. The bathroom was shared with other guests however the cleanliness was beyond expectations. One can also make use of a shared kitchen which was fully equipped.

Ratagan Youth Hostel is has a lochside location with views towards Skye. Free WiFi is provided.

First time in a Youth Hostel, great experience. Very clean both private and shared spaces. Super responsive staff. Kitchen facilities and catering services offered. Definitely recommend.

Very nice place, good facilities, fully equiped kitchen, cozy living room, clean bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was way better than I expected considering it's a hostel and definitely good value for money. Very quiet after 10 pm.
