The atmosphere of the hostel is great and a quiet oasis tucked away just a few minutes from the busy harbour and main street. Candra, the owner, takes pride in seeing to his guests comfort and needs. He's obviously been working in tourism for some time; his knowledge and relaxed nature shows this. The double room I stayed in is quite big and very comfortable. Morning pancakes are delicious. Candra can help organise tours as well as being a fountain of information about further travels in Indonesia. This is also a good place to meet other interesting travellers without being an overly busy party hostel. Highly recommended!

I have stayed at La Boheme 3 separate times now, and every visit feels like coming home. This place is so much more than a hostel - it’s a family. The staff are incredibly kind & welcoming, and always go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They’re one of the biggest reasons I keep returning. The hostel is especially great for solo travellers, and I’ve been lucky enough to create many special friendships here. I know I’ll be back for visit #4 super soon! Lots of love you guys!
