This a wonderful, modern and very new hostel in the heart of Jerusalem. It is packed with young globetrotters and easy to make new friends there. Breakfast was magnificent, rooms comfy and new (beds even had wireless charging stations!), common area offers opportunities to hang out or cook something. There is also a terrace for hanging out in good weather. (Location) It is approx 300 m away from the J'lem light rail stop and a bus stop is right at the entrance so getting around is easy. Banks, bakeries and minimarkets are all around the hostel. (Staff + Vibe) Very nice staff, all speak English and will help you with advice and tips. Bonus points go to hostel manager Danielle and staff member Miriam who taught me how to bake typical Israeli pastries. The general vibe in the hostel is calm, cool, ... it's not a party place so you won't have problems with noisy neighbors. (Rooms + Common Area) Rooms are nice, with hairdryer, each bed has curtains for privacy and a wireless charger. There are lockers with 220V plugs inside too, but don't forget to bring your own locks to keep your stuff inside. Overall hostel felt very safe and at the end I didn't even bother to lock up my tablet computer anymore. In the common area you have free water, soda and tea. You can hang out there, cook a meal, meet new friends etc. People in the hostel were from very mix backgrounds, from solo travellers to business guests and families, but overall all were very nice. (Breakfast) Was vegetarian and kosher so don't expect some old school European or American dishes like bacon. But it was yummy, totally tasty, especially fresh baked pastries, both sweet and salty. Coffee was wonderful too.

Really interesting old building to stay comfortably in old town, near to Western Walls. AC was working and shower was hot. Free coffee available. Owner was most kind and helpful, always ready to explain different details. Amazing place 🤩🤩

The staff was extremely kind and warm. It's my third time in JLM this year and it's the best place to stay, I would come back again with friends and I do not go in the same places when revisiting a place - this is why I found it extraordinary. Why? The staff is awesome! Excellent location! This hostel has everything you need and I will list it in a random order: - very nice room; the ceiling is very high so the room will feel larger. - nice open space where you can eat drink / outside terrace with a beautiful city view - kitchen where you can cook (if you are like us on a special diet) - breakfast = good price - the staff is helping helping tourists to enrol on walking trips everyday - it's a lovely atmosphere which you have to experience by yourself - the heating in the room works very good, the shower is excellent! - the room is clean, the beds are comfortable - luggage room where you can leave your bags after checkout - some people might find the elevator as a bonus :) - you get two access keys - for the double room - which some could find it very useful I am sure that I am missing a lot of features but I hope you will discover it by yourself.

Excellent experience all around. The location is fabulous, across the street from the New Gate into the Old City, and a 10 minute walk to the Jaffa Gate. Also a 20 minute walk to many other landmarks, such as the Montefiore Windmill or the King David hotel. Also, the light rail goes right by, so you can take it from or to the main train station or to Yad vshem . The hostel is located in the historic Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center complex, in a beautiful stone building that used to be an adult professional school. Even though it is on the light rail line, once you are within the complex, it is quiet and serene. The hostel is clean, beds are comfortable, and the breakfast, of pita, humus, several cheeses, eggs, vegetables, and meats, is wholesome and fresh. Jumana, the manager, is very attentive to the guests. For instance, I asked for an electric kettle so we could make our own coffee during the day, and within an hour we had a coffee set-up on the table of our dorm room. Thank you, Jumara, for all you do.
