staff is nice, friendly, and helpfull.. good quiet location, social hostel with friendly guests,, yummy breakfast included with free water, dorms are awesome with ac and curtains and power sockets. There is living room with a couches so perfect to chit chat. At the morning bathroom is a little busy but its a minor inconvenience compared to what you get for your money. Highly recommended

One of the Best Stays Ever! I stayed at Hotel Suitcase for 2 days and had an amazing experience. The service was top-notch, and the staff were polite and always ready to help. What truly stood out was the attached kitchen—fully equipped, so I could cook whatever I liked, which gave a homely feel. The location is also a big plus—just walking distance from Kalighat Mandir and very close to the jatin metro station. The dormitory infrastructure is clean, modern, and comfortable. Very affordable, Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kolkata!

Very nice hostel, would highly recommend. The owner is a superb host, he treats you like a friend and is open to having great conversations. He speaks perfect English. If you stay here, you feel the local experience, not a commercial experience that tries to treat you like royalty.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The vibe is warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. The dorms are clean, comfy, and thoughtfully set up, and the common spaces are perfect for both chilling and meeting fellow travelers. What really makes this place special is the people. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready with local tips or a smile, and the owner clearly puts heart into every detail. It’s more than just a hostel, it genuinely feels like a community. I left with new friends, great memories, and zero regrets.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

The hotel staff and management is very friendly, helpful and generous. They talk very politely with guests. The hotel bathrooms are clean with 24*7 hot water. The hotel rooms are clean and nice though it's a dormitory. The hotel is located in a busy area and you can get all types of transport nearby. Beds are bit hard but manageable. It's a safe place to stay. The hotel is equipped with fast wifi connection. The hotel is fine for solo and family travel as they have a private room with a private bathroom as well I think.
