The best hostel in Goa. Rooms are nice and clean. The best part of all though was Elivia who runs the business and her team. Everyone so kind and warm hearted. Always there to help with any need I had . They made me feel like home. I would chose this place over and over again.

The beds, adorned with crisp linens and plush blankets, were the perfect antidote to a long day of exploring. The shared bathroom, though compact, was spotless and well-maintained. But what truly sets mitra apart is its host, [Raj]. This remarkable individual is the epitome of Indian hospitality. From the moment I arrived, [Host Name] went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of exceptional. Whether it was helping me navigate the city, recommending local eateries, or simply offering a listening ear, Mitra was always available and willing to lend a hand. The best hostel in goa. Had amazing time here. The rooms are spacious, the in-house kitchen has amazing food, good parking space, the hosts ( priyansha and abhay) are really amazing, very comforting, very inclusive nature. The seating arrangement is very open and full of greenery. They have lot of options of events and games for breaking the ice for solo travellers. This is by far the best hostel i have seen for solo travellers. Definitely coming again soon for sure.

Ravi not only greeted me with kindness but also took the time to provide a comprehensive explanation of the surrounding area and its offerings. From the best places to visit to where to find great deals, his informative guidance greatly enhanced my trip. What impressed me most was Ravi's presence at the hostel and his commitment to ensuring everything ran smoothly. He even went the extra mile by addressing minor details like the repetitive music played by fellow travelers, showcasing his attentiveness to guest satisfaction. The bar staff, although their names slipped my mind, were equally impressive. Always friendly and wearing a smile, they delivered excellent service throughout my stay. The welcoming atmosphere they created made it easy to relax and connect with other guests. Additionally, the chef's culinary skills were exceptional, providing a diverse range of delicious dishes at reasonable prices. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality and taste of the food offered. I love this hotel soooo much! I stayed here on 2018 and I was hoping it would be the same even tho it’s under new ownership and it was! They were so incredibly welcoming to me and it meant so much as a solo female traveler. The restaurant staff were amazing too! I know some people commented that the restaurant was expensive but it was totally acceptable! It’s a hotel restaurant. The pool is gorgeous and grounds are beautiful. The other guests were all relaxed and chill

    Location was very convenient as the beach was a 5 minute walk and they are many good restaurants around the hostel. The four people dorm was comfortable and there was enough space for us to keep our luggage. Further, the staff was helpful and friendly as they helped us commute when required and catered to our requirements. Mitra is a very budget friendly place and perfect to visit with friends.

    Perfect nest for backpackers and solo travelers! The hosts were of the same spirit as the guests - very caring and compassionate. The fellow guests were a diverse group of adventures of all ages and origins. Plus, the location is 2mins on foot from the excellent Vagator beach. Fantastic stay - would always come back to stay at Mitra hostel.
