The hostel is quite simply fabulous. A great location with a great history and awesome staff who, with little encouragement, will go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as you need it to be. It is disabled friendly so if you have any questions please just ask the guys in advance. Jacqueline, Jorik and all the staff will gladly bend over backwards to make your stay even better.

It’s been a while since I stayed there but it’s been on my mind ever since so I decided to come back and write this review. Since the moment I enetered the hostel I was made to feel at home, the owner Andrea was so kind, remembered my name right away and gave lots of tips for seeing Cinque Terre. The volunteers working here were also the sweetest. The hostel is small and the outside area is really nice so you always end up sitting there all together. After a couple of days there we ended up feeling like an old group of friends.

I'd love the vibe of this place. It's a small hostel managed by two brothers, Francesco and Antonio. Also, you have a bar/bistro, Ciao Baby, downstairs serving great food. The bathrooms are great and you have plenty of space in the rooms. There is not space for a lot of guests, I think there is only 2-3 rooms, so is easy to met everybody in the kitchen and downstairs. The hostel is just a few steps from the La Spezia train station which turns to be easy to explore everything around like Cinque Terre villages.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
