I love the room, It’s a big room with smaller compartments with sliding door but it feels like I have my own ‘room’ in it! It’s very spacious compared to capsule hotels and I can repack my luggage in my own room before my flight home! The staffs there are really nice too, I met Tomo and Rena who hosted a little game night! They have microwaves, laundry machine, everything is really convenient! It’s also nearby a seven eleven so you could easily get there. AND getting to the hostel is just a short 8 min walk, and super easy to remember! (just walk straight from koganei station and turn left once you see 7eleven) Also! They have a MEGA don quixote 15 mins away, and a BOOKOFF 23 minutes away! (It would be 15 from don quixote). And I really recommend them if you’re finding second-hand new looking treasures!!! BOOKOFF have really nice children’s picture book to be discovered too! I love koganei for it’s quiet and neighbourhood feel. Not to mention it’s just 3 stations away from Kichijoji, Ghibli Museum area!

Great wee hostel in a quiet area of Tokyo that is still well connected to busy areas like Shinjuku and Shibuya. The man that runs the property was very attentive and helpful. Reasonably priced compared to other places as well. If you are looking for a party hostel with lots of people to socialise with, this is not for you. But for what it is, it’s fantastic!

Featuring a bar and views of city, TOP EDGE HOSTEL Koenji is located in Tokyo, 1.4 km from Takahara Park.

The atmosphere is very enjoyable. Yoshi, the host, is very friendly and considerate. Amenities were perfect for what I was looking for (clean bed, clean showers and plenty of bathrooms). Very close to the station. Plenty of cool shops and restaurant/bars in Koenji. I plan to stay here again on my next visit!

I liked absolutely everything, the place was even much better than I expected, very recommended to stay during Tokyo trip.

I suddenly felt unwell while staying at this hostel, but thanks to help from a staff named Glenda (I'm not sure how to spell correct), I was able to stay comfortably. This hostel is clean, offers many chances to socialize, and provides free breakfast, among many other advantages, however, I would say the kindness of staff was the best, I am truly grateful to Glenda.

Set in Shinjuku in central Tokyo, UNPLAN Kagurazaka's convenient location makes it easy to reach all parts of Tokyo.

Great value for money in a strategic location. Close to everything but sheltered from the hectic pace of the city. The staff in incredibly helpful and nice. This hostel/hotel makes a point of creating a cosmopolitan environment and you can enjoy this in its hall/dining area. There is a good offer of affordable, healthy and tasty meals from the kitchen, so one can relax at the hotel after a long day of strolling through Tokyo. Recommended if you need a home away from home.
