The staff is just amazing, everyone is super nice, polite, welcoming and always willing to help you. It’s clean and the beds in the share room have a lot of space and the ac works perfectly. Also doing laundry is cheap and they give you free soap 👌

I stayed for the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix weekend. I was travelling alone and the staff were very nice upon check in. Capsule dorm was clean and shower room was great. Hair dryer and straighters/curlers were available which was great for a backpacker like myself! Took about 15 minutes for me to walk to Nagoya train station. There’s a family mart 2/3 minute walk away too. Not loud at night in the area so I got a great night sleep every time. 10/10 would recommend

Plenty of opportunities for social interactions with other travelers, but you can also have your own space. Clean, quiet and comfortable. I extended my stay, partly because the hostel was so great.

Great location, very helpful people, I had a bunk bed which was like a capsule, they have a washing machine and dryer to use for a small fee, I was able to drop my bag off, check in was easy, the bed and everything was super clean. They run a cafe as well and I was sad that I didn't leave enough time to eat here. The location is fantastic, just 15 minutes from Nagoya castle I highly recommend visiting. Loads of shops and restaurant around. Looked like a great place to hang out.

Great location as the hostel is very close to Nagoya station. We really loved the feature of opening a "window" to your neighbour/partner, which you can request while booking 2 capsules. It was really clean and the showers and toilets worked great. Great value for money!

During my stay at Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel, I was grateful that I was placed near the window, providing ample space for luggage organization. The reliable wifi in the pantry area was convenient for staying connected. Above all, the exceptional hospitality of Icchan, the owner, made me feel welcomed and at home throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place for its cozy atmosphere and personal touch.

One of my best hostel experiences in Japan! The staff was super nice and made me feel at home. The cafe downstairs was very cozy and the staff there was also very nice. The rooms were comfortable, but there weren't a lot of beds per room (I had 2 bunk beds) so if you make good friends with your roommates, it's almost like you're back at summer camp. The kitchen was well equipped and was a nice meeting place to talk to other guests. Thank you for having me!
